meteorological and marine conditions.
With our software, RWICS Terminal for
windows 95/98 and the telemetry
system with a cellular
phone, data transceiver or portable
satellite phone, remote simulation and analysis of data is
possible.

The RWICS high-performance telemetry system
can store data such as barometric pressure, wind speed and direction, air
temperature, humidity, water level, insolation, rain and 7 separate temperature
readings from -200 to 1300°C. Current data can be transmitted and monitored
on a display in a remote location.
- Complies to telecommunication
facilities such as NTT lines, the mobile communication network, the PHS
network and data transceivers.
The stored data can be transmitted over
these facilities via an RS-232C cable. Using a PC, monitoring current data
and presetting the time to start data logging is possible remotely.
- Three types of power
supply
Depending on the setup, three types of power
supply are available: AC; 8V to 16V DC; and an internal rechargeable battery
(NiMH). Using a solar panel, long hours of continuous running is possible.
Logging pace can be freely set from a minimum
of 1 second to a maximum of 3600 seconds. The RWICS control unit can store
a maximum of 12000 times the amount of data in its internal memory.
- GPS data printout
(Optional)
GPS data can be printed out. Logging GPS
data with other data enables a user to determine location while the unit
is on the move.
